Very quickly however, I fell in love with the art style of Japanese anime, although I only had what I could find on peasant vision. It wasn't until 2003 that I got my first video game console and discovered the wonderful world of game graphics. After working for several years at EB Games, I pursued a college education and graduated in 2009 from Edmonton's Pixel Blue College (formerly DevStudios College) with a Diploma in 3D Animation specializing in modelling and texture art.
It wasn't until late 2011-early 2012 that I became interested in comics, when my roommate opened his comic store and I began to delve into the world of Superheroes that I discovered my passion and love for western comics as well as eastern manga.

So guess who quit their day job! (Night job? Evening job? Either way, I can get back on a normal sleep cycle! :D)
I'm now a fulltime freelance artist!
So here's a special shout out to all my airport people, current and past: for showing me what I can do when push comes to shove, how well I can preform under pressure if I set my sights on it, giving me a team I know I can always fall back on, and for the mass amount of fun times. I'm going to miss you guys, but you know where to find me.

Updates to ZVA.ca

Updates are going to be a little on the wonky side between Zayven-Art.ca and my social media accounts as I transfer things over to my wordpress page. Changes to Pricing

Please see the Commission Guide for new pricing. The new pricing will only affect custom works, not prints and the such. For those of you who already have quotes/estimates from me, there will not be a change in how my price is calculated (any change to those quotes are all based on my old pricing system).
Sorry for the long delay in updates. You’d figure someone who does Digital Art would have more of an inclination to be online, but apparently I’m not one of those people. XP
